Can performance ever be a sin? “No”, says Hans-Jürgen Abt, managing director of Abt Sportsline, with a wide grin, and looks satisfied to the IAA-debut of the most extreme tuning interpretation of the Audi TT. The shape leaves no doubt: this is the road-going version of the racing car from the DTM (German Touring Car Masters), that has matured to a multiple race winner this season.

With the modified Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera edo competition Motorsport has now added a second high-profile Italian racer to its tuning program after the Murciélago LP 640. Like its bigger brother, this sports car with the bull in its logo excels through its highlighted racing genes and more aggressive appearance after being modified at edo competition.
The most remarkable feature is the sensational acceleration. edo competition achieves these figures thanks to the installation of a massive air box, high flow catalytic converters which are a completely new design and a recalibration of the engine electronics. All components together raise the power output to 560 hp (411 kW) at 8,250 rpm. The power increase of 30 hp / 22 kW boosts the top speed by about 6 km/h (4 mph) to 320 km/h (199 mph).
Another highlight: The sound volume of the modified exhaust system can be adjusted via remote.
The sporty concept of the edo Gallardo Superleggera is rounded off with 19“ three-piece racing wheels with an artificially-aged cast center-section, hand-polished outer rims and 39 stainless steel screws. The front wheels are shod in stock-sized or (on request) 245/35 ZR 19 rubber while 305/30 ZR 19 Dunlop Sport Maxx tires are used on the rear axle. With this solution edo competition enables its customers to reuse the factory tires on their new wheels.
edo competition treats the masculine stance of the Gallardo Superleggera to an additional testosterone injection by lowering the suspension by a good 15 mm and through the use of corner-weighting. With these upgrades, the Lambo sticks to the road so firmly and unflappably that it would take an earthquake to upset its poise.

German tuning company Edo Competition has developed an aftermarket program for the Ford GT that includes both engine, suspension, and cosmetic upgrades. Edo adds an upgraded exhaust system that has an adjustable volume and new stainless steel tail pipes, and re-flashes the engine computer. The result is an extra 60 horsepower. The suspension is tuned with independently adjustable damping technology for both rebound and compression dumping. Cosmetically, Edo adds carbon fiber paneling to the engine bay and gives the car a small rear spoiler. Other upgrades are also available include unique paint and racing wheels in different designs.

Lotus Cars Ltd, has unveiled the MY2009 Exige Cup 260. A direct development of the 2008 Exige Cup Car, this years car uses advanced light weight components and carbon fibre body material, to reduce the overall weight by 38 kg to a total mass less than 900 kg. Maximum power output of 257 hp (260 PS), remains the same as the 2008 car, but with careful attention to weight reduction detail, the 2009 Model Year Exige Cup 260 provides a more agile and dynamic track focused drive and is more than capable of taming Europes most challenging race circuits.
Unusually for such a focused track and road machine, the 2009 Model Year Exige Cup 260 is fully homologated for road use in Europe and key markets in Asia - a must have for many race competition programmes where a road legal car has to be entered. The Lotus Exige Cup 260 is also eligible to compete in the newly announced 2009 Lotus Cup Europe race series organized and run by LoTRDC.
The Exige Cup 260 exploits the Lotus philosophy of using weight reduction to increase performance and reduce emissions.

Ferrari Enzo ya Edo Competition dan tuning paketi...
Ferrari'nin son zamanlarda ürettiği ve adını uzun yıllar unutturmayacak tasarıma sahip aracına el atan edo compotition gerçekten çok cesurca davranarak çok başarılı bir işe imza atmış.
Enzonun jantları tek bijonlu olup çok az firma tarafından üretilen jantlar arasına edo compotition tarafından üretilen bu jantlarda eklenmiş oldu...
Arcın motorundada büyük işler başaran edo 700 beygir 715 Nm tork güç elde etmeyi başarmış. Bunun için headers, high-flow catalytic converter, performance muffler, modified intake with ram-air system, high-flow air filters and ECU recalibration gibi uygulamalar yapılmış.
Bunlara ek olarakta yeni şanzıman kontrol ünitesi eklenerek vites geçiş süresi düşürülmüş ve maksimum performans elde edilmiş....

VW Golf'ün 6'ncı nesli yola çıkmaya hazır
Volkswagen'ın kompakt sınıf modeli Golf'ün 6'ncı nesli, gerçek yüzünü gösterdi.
Ekimden itibaren Avrupa' da satışa sunulacak olan yeni VW Golf, 2009'un ilk çeyreğinde Türkiye'de satılmaya başlanacak.
İlk olarak 1974'te tanıtılan ve 34 yıl içinde 26 milyon adet satan Volkswagen Golf'ün 6'ncı nesli, gerek iç ve dış tasarımı gerekse güvenlik ve motor/yürüyen aksam teknolojileriyle ön plana çıkıyor.
